I had drilled rotors and ceramic pads on my SC430 for a year now, no squeak, I got them cheap from Ebay.

Quiet as can be and stop great for street use.

Cool

<- old Hawk HPS Track pads on my ES.
Noone drives harder, yet I'm nearing 20,000 miles & have more than 1/2 pad left on the front axles. Compair that to 2,000-4,000 miles on EBC Green (EBC pads are all crap).

0 extra dusting, no extra noise, very long life. That's not bringing up the fact that cold they're as silky as any great normal pad. Give them a light warm up & they stiffen up & give more feedback & modulation than any non-track-specific pad I've ever encountered.

Hawk HPS Track pads get my for a daily driven car, as well as a daily driven mild track car. (You won't find a better auto-x pad. Now if you're lapping a car on a real race-tack for 1/2 an hour at a time... You obviously need dedicated track pads.)

I had EBCs for my fronts and lots of brake dust issues. I had Hawks before and they were better all around than EBCs. I actually use OEM Lexus pads now, but would use Hawks if OEM pads disappeared off the earth.

Default sorry to post again on this issue fellas.....

sorry guys, not to repeat myself, but I'm not talking about Hawk HPS Brake Pads,
the one's I'm asking about are Hawk Ceramic Brake Pads,
the Hawk Ceramic Brake Pads are the ones that are a notch below the HPS brake Pads....

Ceramics Brake Pads are the closest thing to OEM......

HPS pads are more for off and on (lightly) weekend autoCross.

Thanks for all the input on the HPS pads though,,,,,,great info guys.....
much appreciated......
