hey, did anyone notice the color of the roof of 06 (a pillar and the roof)?

i was surprised coz' couple weeks ago me and my wife we went to dealership and saw a white 06 sc430, but the roof is BLACK....... if i am correct, all 02-05 roof are kinda whitish color for all interior, is that right?

dunno, we don't like the black roof at all. the car suddenly seems a lot smaller inside, didn't feel comfortable

thats suprising that they did that. Black does tend to close everything in. When I made my pod assembly for the pillar I tried it in black. It was too distracting to my line of vision.

My interior is black, so I considered switching to black 06 A-pilar, roof liner and rear-window trim. But not for $5,000.00 installed at the dealer. I always wondered why they put a white roof liner and trim with black interior in the first place. I will sit in one next time I'm at the dealer. If it does feel more confined then I won't be discouraged about staying with the white.

Henry I am guessing the interior is black also? I have the ecru on my white 06 and the roof liner is identical to the 05. The only difference is the wood grain

It would be stupid to have ecru leather & black roof lining , I guess they are trying to match black leather with black roof lining ?
Personally, I think black leather with light roof lining looks fine to me, feels more spacious inside which I prefer - that's the way it is in my G35 coupe.

i Have An O6 . I Have Black Leather And The Roof Is Black. Looks Good.......easy To Keep Clean. Exterior Is White Gold.

ok i guess it's according to different colors. the one i sat in wasn't ecru, it's the new brownish interior. seriously, the cabin seems so small when we were in there, visual illusion (since the sc430 interior is small to begin with)

for the record, say on gs400, is300, even with black interior the roof lining and stuff they are grey, not, black. even the ls430. i think if it's all black it's too dark, no?

I guess the white/black leather combo is available in most places except California ?

Didn't that white 06 with the LX-mode front lip have the black leather? You know, the one with the spoke rims that not too many people liked

it's ALWAYS available, you can always make it on lexus.com, but they never came here unless you custom order (at least in the US).

yeah i noticed that. maybe they finally do some normal production on those since 06?
