socal convoy:

some of us are going to leave los angeles area together. we are going to leave LA area promptly at around 4am, giving us enough time to go up 101N to SLO. given the time i think/hope/wish traffic should be ok. if you want to join the convoy, let's post up here or pm and see how we can do this. i am thinking about just catching up with each other on the freeways otherwise it's wasting time. so far i know the following, i will update this list

stuff to bring

well i am thinking about what we should bring, here are some suggestions

1) walkie talkies -- very useful when the whole group is driving together. i have 2, one for me and one for gsxotic, if you have one, bring it so we can all set to the same channel

2) umbrella -- seriously, no one wants to use this, but given the mighty cali weather these days, you never know....

3) camera, camcorder, AND tripod -- to take good pics and videos, tripod is a must. i have couple of ideas on taking pics and videos, would be fun to do it altogether

4) jackets -- just in case it gets windy and cool, you want to have a jacket

I am already making my nightly prayer to god for a beautiful Saturday.... This will totally stink the plan if the rain finds itself around SLO on Saturday...

 

I just dropped off my bumpers at the paint shop. I wish I had the time to do them myself which in turn would mean they would come out the way I want them.
As is I may be the only 2 tone SC there. They did ok in the past when I was in a pinch so hopefully lightning will strike twice. Just no rain.

so far, for NorCal convoy, it's just me and jsl757. I'll give garcia2 a call to see if he's in.

I got my wine 12 bottles today, 2 bottles of each different vineyards, ranging from Cabs, Merlot and Chianti (All local Sonoma/Napa county vineyards). And about 4-6 Havannas ranging from Montecristo #4 and RYJ (Romeo Y Julieta longsdales). A a few Nicaraguans/Honduras preimum stoogies. Let's get this party started.

Yeah you are right man but I have been so busy with work and other things. I am going to follow up with them tomorrow to ensure things are going ok. I do not have time to install the new Piaa fog lights as I will let the newly painted front bumper to dry to install Expel and then install. I picked up a spare just for this.

 

hahaa you are last minute but i never doubt your ability lee, you always make things happen

and just make sure your roof is still working

 

As this is a very public forum, everyone that is staying over may want to think about a seconday security device such as a club or something.
