Programming new sc430 keys
Does anyone have the instructions for programming new keys for the SC430? I have a wallet (on programming) and a vallet (will need programming) The dealer wants $45 (I think per key) plus have to take the car in. I am getting keys from Sewell and they said to look for instructions on the net. I only found ones for LS430.
Thanks
John

Been discussed here
Just search again it was discussed on this board just couple months ago and instruction was there, but I believe no one actually succeeded in programming it.
At that point I needed the key and after reading the post had to go to the dealer, who charged me for master key plus programming plus junk fees $325.
I am not sure about valley key.

Sad. I thought Mercedes keys were expensive. The valet key does not need programming, but only opens the doors. Not a bad thing if you have a hidden key that starts the car. Sewell seemed to think it was a snap and to check the web. I've found no success either.
I don't even mind the $49 programming, it is taking the darned thing in and waiting around. My local Lexus in Annapolis seems to inflate even the high prices. The $38 vallet key from Sewell was $89 plus $49 from Annapolis -- didn't say it was not programmable.. The Sub master was but $53 from Sewell and $99 from Annapolis plus $49 programming.. Sewell shows the list as $62. The master was ONLY $250 PLUS $49. What a deal compared to our friend. Do Lexus dealers charge what they want? Great car but seem to approach Mercedes in arrogance.
