Quality manufacturing, ISO9000 standards on these pedals, eh?

I believe I posted this originally on my install w/pics, but I certainly had some issues with my ebrake and dead pedal too.

I put a little lock-tight around the screw on the dead pedal and a little super glue behind it just for good measure. It has never moved!

On the e-brake my holes were drilled horizontally not vertically like antigeek's and steddy's however the location of one of the holes were right over the brace of the e-brake behind the pedal face so I couldn't drill! What I did was cut a screw head off and glued it in for a clean install look, even though it didn't provide any fastening at all. I don't think I've ever used my e-brake to park but I did test it a couple of times and it was solid no movement-one screw is all you need! Just use the "dummy screw head" to make it look good when you are done.

Here is a "big" picture of my metal pedals. For some reason it won't take the small pictures that I have on my computer, but will take the large ones.

This papparazzi likes to drive in comfort and luxury

They look very cool but I'm going to need to put my feet on them to see if they're comfortable for bare feet driving.

Be aware that if you get those pedals, you won't be able to install the E-brake one. I never found a way to access the vertical drill holes. I gave up, and it's not noticeable, especially since it's so small.

Mandyfig, hope you went with the second ones. They look the same but $15. cheaper. I too bought that set but paid the higher price, oh well. Yes the ebrake is a pain as was lining up the brake pedal. It can be done, just take your time. Honest. Check back in the thread and look at some of the suggestion on the install. Good luck! I was pleased, but that's me, I'm easy and steady too.

Yes I bought the 2nd one, same part number but I bet you it will take longer to get here. That's fine.

And yes, I will get it my shot at doing a DIY using lessons learned from this thread!

Can not wait.

I bought them from espeeddiy. Arrived today and I bought them on Friday 12/31. They shipped from CA on Monday and I got them today on Wednesday.

I'm charging the battery on the hand drill and will put them on this weekend when I get a chance.
