Definitely 19's or 20's w/out a doubt for the SC430.
Since I've been on a budget, I wanted to keep the 18's for now, until the car is paid off.
It's an '03 so I got about 2 more years. Until then, i'm stuck w/ these 18's and so far these TRD's aren't that too bad, cause they're compatible w/ the TPS and sensors. I'm loving the lowered stance w/ the Eibach's, but will soon be looking for the Tein CS (new ones, of course) or used from any SC430 member, or any other type of coilover that's out there, e.g. Blistein PSS, etc. As a result, the car rides more smoothly on the streets and highway. It's feels like I'm floating on air. The Eibach's are okay, but my stock shocks will soon need replacement, so the coilovers will be the way to go.
you'll see, when I do get new rims, it definitely will be the shiznit. eek2:
Trust me, I've researched enough and seen so many nice rims out there, it's sick not to drool over them and wanting them more.
My goal was to have basic mods w/ the current stuff and provide a simple but yet subtle look w/out any major overhaul or any issues w/ rubbing and what have you, no more no less.
As the saying goes which I've seen so many times here on CL, "you gotta pay to play".
For me, "I'll pay, but don't hurt me too much".
I still get a look of "what kind of car is that?" and "nice car" which I've heard so many times and I just nod my head and say, "Thanks".
This is an awesome club, especially here in the SC430 forum. I wouldn't know what do w/ my car if it wasn't for this club where people love their cars and it shows in their faces and expressions.
