About time......I've been reading about all the other exotic, domestic and import coupe/convertibles that get attention and get the recognition for this and that pertaining to their perfomance, luxury, etc. As a result, I rarely or never hear anything about a mention of the SC430 as being ranked "top" for something individually for a certain category.

But now after hearing this, it makes me feel that I bought this car for what it's worth, quality, build and worksmanship.

This is not the first time the SC430 has won this award, they won the last couple years too.

The JDPower VDS (vehicle Dependability Survey) for 3 year old cars is more meaningful, but the SC430 did extremely well in that one last year too.

No surprise there, even with the top mechanism and other technologies. Congrat Lexus.

I noticed the survey result really straddled a broad range of brands, from Kia to Porsche. But a very huge portion of the bell curve was owned by Lexus/Toyota. Good job! I've never seen a survey such as this where Acura/Honda was not present. Just an observation for whatever it's worth.
