Hello! I just got my 430 yesterday and i freakin love everything about it! I have a problem though.
The first time i got in the car at night, i turned on the headlights and the navigation screen went from a white background to a black background. I liked this cause it was much less obtrusive on the eyes when driving at night.
Well, i was messing around with the settings, and now even at night the screen stays bright white! I went in to the settings menu and saw the set up for night display and day display. The options were AUTOMATIC, NORMAL, or 1,2,3, or 4. I tried all these different options and the screen still stays bright white at night. Someone please help me figure this out, i'll rep you!

you likely have the brightness control (steering wheel) cranked all the way up - dial it down to right under locked at full brightness (you'll hear it click) and it should automatically change.
