I have seen the 05 PB edition with the Diamond Black metallic paint in person in the showroom too, I like the paint but not the red interior, but it has a black wood steering wheel & interior wood trim. The SC430 in the link in the original post has a brown walnut steering wheel, plus we can't really see a red interior. The headlights do look similar . . .

please tell me where I have been looking. There is also the issue of the large chrome trim lip on the end of the hood. It is not part of the grill but plastic "chrome" as well and It will be hard to paint.

JP makes a grill for about $500. I painted my chrome lip and front grill. It turned our OK but after about a year it did chip a little. I put close to 20,000 miles a year on the car so I'm on the fast track for dings and chips. I think I might have the chrome lip powder coated but I'm not sure how much of it is really metal.

i stil cant figure out the difference between that grill and the stock one minus the emblem, which is what i have now @_@
