Whats up everyone,
Ran across an old man selling an 03 sc430 for 39k. Pine with ecru, garaged kept, 18k miles still under fact warranty. He just bought a Bentley coupe and and is selling the lex to make room for the Bentley convertible. Also has a caddy XLR and Chevy SSR tricked out. Keeps his cars meticulous and want to know what you guys think.

I just paid £36K in the UK for an 05
List here is £55K
Now that was a good deal...
Wow, $36k pounds, at the 1 to 1.89 rate for US$, is $68K! You can get a brand new SC 430 for less than that in the US! That's not a good deal at all in my books!
And you say its $55K pounds (US$104K) brand new? Do they impose some type of added tax to vehicles in the UK?

Combination of right hand drive, import tax Value added tax, exchange rate, higher specs and bigger margins for manufacturers drives the price up... TVs, food and most things are generally $=£
Cheers
