Default Suspension question

in the past 6 to 8 months the ride on my 2002 SC430 (50k miles) has gotten very bad, very bouncy and feel every bump, doesn’t feel like a lexus anymore. Last week I purchased lexus front struts for $140.00 from lexus and had them installed for $375.00 by a local shop, that improved the ride but not by much. What do you guys suggest I do next, could it be the springs that need to be replaced?

Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Tell us about your tires? What kind? How many miles? Doubt you have spring or shock problems at 50K miles. Maybe shocks at 90K miles "maybe"???

In the front I have Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 245/40YR18 with approx 33k (give or take 5k)on them
in the back I have Michelin Pilot Sport 275/35 with 10k miles on them.

I should point out that I live in New York and the roads are terrible, I hit pot halls all the time.

I would think that 25K miles out of a set of high performance tires is great. I bet your fronts are shot. Also you have even lower profile tires on the back that will provide a rougher then normal ride. I think your problem is your tires. Go to www.tirerack.com and buy a set of PZero Nero's for around $149 per tire in the OEM size of 245/40/18's.
