Don't tell me you can just put the bags in there holding them by the 'ears', because you'd be lying . I have to 'squeeze' the bag with one hand while holding it with the other to make them fit. And no, just regular Albertson's plastic bags, like everywhere else.
Why do most people have trouble accepting their cars' shortcomings?? Seems stupid to me.

and i don't care how much stuff you pack in those albertson bags, but every time i can just easily slide the bags in. the only time i have to squeeze is if i want to utilize the two "holes" on the side behind the taillights.
acusing me of "hiding" shortcomings of the car, what a joke.

let's not turn this thread into a crazy argument!! obviously diff owners will have varying opinions on the sufficiency of the rear seat (for people and/or cargo) and the practicality of the trunk w/ the tray in place.
it's beneficial for potential owners to hear real world opinions on this subject, good AND not-so-good... (that's what makes CL a great forum)

All very well said. This is a beautiful car, IMO will be a classic. I would not say that the non-functional backseats and small trunk are shortcomings of the SC. We all know what we are getting into when we bought this car. I like to think of the rear seats as a 'just-in-case' option, you could conveniently ignore their existence until such time that you absolutely have to squeeze someone or something back there. As for the trunk I find it amazingly adequate for running all my daily errands.
