I had it done professionally and it wasn't an easy job due to the amplifier / stereo situation..
Not a bad set-up - glad I have it -- probably would have been fine with a high quality blue tooth headset.

I hate to diverge but I will somewhat on the subject. We have 5 different bluetooth cell phones in our house and so far none will allow me to up load the phone book to the car. Current phones I have tried to no success are the (2) Virizon Razr (known not to work), TMobile Blackberry 7100 and a cingular Blackberry 8700c. My wife has a older T Mobile Motorola V70, does anyone know if this will work? If not can you recomend a bluetooth card for a laptop that I can use?

I ordered and received the harness thinking that it would automatically connect to the speakers. This is NOT the case. The harness will automatically power up the unit and mute the radio, but you still have to run wires back to the amplifier in the trunk and splice them in. I may give it a try when it warms up. My current Parrot CK3100 only has the small speaker that works OK, but I would love for it to come through the sound system. I will let you know how it goes once I install.

Overall, however, the www.parrotkits.com harness made the job MUCH easier. It was money well-spent.

I am installing the 3200 with the harness right now , and everything is working except for the mute. The stereo and the phone come through at the same time. We hooked up the yellow wires noted in the harness install instructions, then spliced into the pink wire marked "phone mute" and then the brown wire marked "mute" and then both the brown and the pink wires with no luck...
Hopefully we'll figure it out, but any suggestions would be a appreciated.
BTW, we spliced in the speaker wire right in the parrot "do not cut" speaker wires.

If you can email (rsasupra at aol dot com) me the diagram or tell me the pin # and wire color for the mute. I would appreciate it. I am almost certain that we jut have the wrong lead. Likely a minor difference between the JBL system that the harness was made for and the ML system.
