I like white on the SC, especially when paired with saddle leather.

The pearl shine on the car gives it a "bigger" look and accentuates its curves and lines.

My top three, in order :

1. Twilight Amethyst

2. Smoky Granite

3. Starfire Pearl (must have body kit, otherwise no)

I like it in the new Matador Red too, so probably my fourth choice . . . The new Obsidian Black & dark blue would be acceptable to me also . . . . . .

Actually there is now a Black Saphire in addition to the lighter blue saphire (I did not see this as an option on the web site). I know because I just bought one on Tuesday. Kind of like the Amethyst because for most lighting situations it looks black. There are also new optional wheels with diamond machined spokes (about 16-18 of them) and a graphite finish inside the spoke but I forget what they call them (Also on my vehicle).

You are correct, sir. In the poll, I removed the word "black" from"Black Sapphire Pearl" so the uninformed would be aware that the color is a deep BLUE rather than BLACK.

2 - Silver
3 - Black
All with saddle leather, black leather just make it too dark when roof closed.

BLACK Never liked the car until I saw it in black. Have had several other people say the samething. Doesn't look like the same car. But it is all about taste and everyone likes different things.

Damn, Lexus really has a lot of great color options this year. The prior years the only colors I liked on the SC430 was Black, White, and Blue.

Now I love them all!! Even the Chardonnay Pearl is nice. I hate tan colors on cars, but I have to admit that its a good color. Lots of metallic flakes.

Sigh...but considering that I will have to pick one, I will go with the Smoky Granite Mica.

Samanator, Can you post some pics of your car? Congratulations. My wife and I will pick our new Black Sapphire with Camel interior and Tourmaline wheels this Saturday. I think this must be the same as yours.

We also had a FULL 3M clear bra installed to include around the front window frame.

I like all Lexus colors, but that Black Sapphire is a winner. On my test drive EVERYONE stared at the car.
