What is your problem??? I tell you I think you got a great deal and acknowledge the fact that Lexus makes great vehicles and engines that will go forever and you get all weird? I had a FZJ80 with 130K miles that was like new and a ES300 with over 120K miles when I traded it. Like I said you get a better deal when you buy one with a few miles and miles don't hurt these vehicles like others.
Crap, I read your post late at night when I replied back and it sounded sarcastic as hell, still kind of does w/ the 500K miles and all... I thought you were taking a cheap shot so I swung back. I agree, it was a great deal. Cheers!
this took 2 days of negotiations and 2 damn trips from College Station to Dallas
Hi Texas83,
Just curious, since you have the Longhorn emblem; are you a Longhorn working in College Station? Must be tough if you are...with all the Aggies around.
I graduated from McCombs last year and set up shop in CSTX, I know it sucks compared to Austin, but business is stellar!

It is hard to communicate sometimes over the internet. I say 500K miles because I believe that just using Lexus recommended maintance these engines will last 500K miles between overhauls. I also have found with other Lexus vehicles that I've owned that when they get to be 5-6 years old they still look and feel as good as other cars that are just 1-2 years old. I think that is because Lexus uses superior materials then other manufactures.
