Just shows how many people expect the world to evolve around them.
I like the size of the car, I love the fact that nobody can fit in the back, and I am glad Lexus went with the hardtop approach-thus my purchase. Again-don't like it-go elsewhere and buy something else. My other options were M3 convertible and 996 convertible. Both smaller cars and considerably less refined.

SC is too small inside. You sit very low to the ground in the SL.

I'm 6' and 230 lbs and fit very nicely. Not too much room and not too tight either. I would have liked that the seat was a tad lower but otherwise no issues here. It's different for everyone -some think it is perfect-others too large-others too small. It's up to them as it is their money.

Just a dimes worth of two cents. The corporate line from Lexus to it's sales is that the SC will not have a model change until 2010.

Since it is a limited production vehicle do not expect any big changes to the overall vehicle before then. Best guesses would be an engine change to the new 4.6 if it fits with little to no change. Lexus has stayed the line with not adding ventelated seats, push button starting and new navigation systems even to the high volume RX. So I would not expect them here given the volume.

As I have noted else where in this forum since I own a Lexus (2006 and 2007)with both nav systems I'm not convinced the newer is better unless you add the back up camera feature. I think the older system is a better interface.

In buying the SC I shopped both the 911 Cab. and the MB SLK lines. Both do not justify thier price points well above the Lexus and the lesser SLK's are not up to any Lexus standard (Ride, quality, handeling, refinement, .....). Actually both my wife and I felt the smaller SLK did not even match the 4 year old Audi TT that we had going off of lease. My wife really wanted a SLK and came away from the test drives very disapointed.

The interior of my 911 is much more roomy when compared to my wife's SC430. The overall quality of the SC is much better than the 911. If they made a 5-6 speed manual option on the SC I would also own one.....
