Nascal Sc2 !!! Is Coming
#32
Since I missed the NOPI nationals AND Lexfest this year, I am seriously considering this trip. I have a trailer and truck ready for the long haul now I am just figuring out if I can afford the gas and the downtime. No promises yet but it is being considered.

Just out of curiosity since I know nothing about trailers...What's the price range for one? And yes, I have a hitch. I have an Infiniti QX56 (bidnez vehicle) & that might not be a bad idea.

Sorry, dont know the price range for the open trailers, my friend is letting me borrow his. I think a small enclosed one will run about 6k. Do you know the towing capacity of the QX56?

It's a 5.6L V8 (Duh) and power is 315hp w/torque @ 390. If you have a 2WD, towing cap. is 9000lbs. If you have a 4WD, it's 8900lbs. Your trailer (if closed) should be no more than 2200lbs or so and with an SC weighing in at around 3850lbs + 2200lbs = 6050lbs = ROADTRIP!!!

The planning for NASCAL-SC2 '07 has begun....
This will take right up the the day of the meet to accomplish and we'll need all the time in the world. Mmaloy and myself w/ the help of others will be meticulously planning and coordinating the efforts of interested parties to provide an experience of a lifetime.
This will be an exclusive SC430 meet like no other and surely will outdo the San Luis Obispo meet held earlier this year '06 back in April. For those traveling afar that need lodging, I will be providing a list of recommendations within the vincinity of Pebble Beach, Monterey and Carmel areas.
If you're from outside of CA., now's the time to think and start making serious plans to attend 2nd Annual All SC430 meet. You won't regret it.
So you have 6 months to get modding and get ready to prepare your precious baby to make an appearance at Pebble Beach, home of the PGA Tour, Concourse D'Elagance and the Laguna Seca Raceway annual events.
Modded or stock, just bring your baby and join as we will celebrate and conjure the taste, smells and sounds of the Pacific North coast. What do you have to lose or not gain?
And you will not walk away and go home empty handed. I guarantee that.
Here's a couple of pics from our SF cruise meet a couple of years ago along highway 1 which is not too far from Pebble Beach, Ca. These views and settings are similar to Pebble Beach so expect breath-taking and scenic views 360 degrees.
