Default Please let me know if you find a SC430 2007 Navigation Override

All I spent the weekend trying every Override combination on the site for my 2007 SC 430. I did not find one that would work. For the most part the new screens are completely different. If some one finds one that works please post on this thread.

It really bothers me that you can’t change this to stay on like almost every other car. The one I found for our IS250 worked like a champ. I just wish when you do it that it would stay in the override mode and not reset on Keyoff.

i believe the 07 sc430 still has the gen 4 nav?

push on the menu button, click on volume, top left, bottom left, top left, bottom left, new screen comes up, press and hold override until beep, click back.

you don't see those screens?

Sorry that does not work. That was one of about 10 different configurations I've tried. So far nothing on the forum that I could find regardless of model worked.

That does however work great on my wife's IS250.

No way?!? I'll have to try that tomorrow. So when you say top left, are you referring to tapping the top-left most corner of the screen?

Great info!!! I'm going to see if it works on my car too. Does it keep all the settings at a same place (keeping POI and etc)?

everything is still the same as before, just that you can adjust anything when driving. don't touch anything else on that diagnostic screen besides the override button.

oh and another "sad" thing is you have to do this every time you start your car. i am not really bothered by that

I think the 2005 override if I remember the procedure that I found was:

Menu
System Information
Top Left, bottom Left, Top Left, Bottom Left
Press and hold overide until it beeps
Then use back button until you get back to the main screen

(If you do a search on Override for Sc430 there is a version of this proceedure with pictures.)

Like I said I tried about 10-12 different combos. Mine did not have most of the options for some of the procedures so that was a sticking point.

Here is the link I found that I belive will work for the 2005:

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...vigation+sc430

If not try the one that rominl gave above.

You should have seen me Saturday with postit notes for every combination I could find stuck on the dash.

i have 05 sc430, it's the same method as the one i posted

this sequence only works for 05 and probably 06 sc430. seems like not for 07 sc430

02-04 is a different sequence
