Default wheel to fender fitment question

alrite, i have done some searching, and i have also read the sticky on wheel fitment, but i cant seem to find a definite answer on what offset will have the wheel sit flush with the fender so that the wheels dont appear to be sunken in. does anybody know if the offsets in the fitment guide are correct for that?

I am running 20mm offsets and they sit flush with the car. Some old pics of my car below.

The wheels in the pics are 8.5/9.5. An extra 1/2" would fit nicely. But it all depends on the wheel as well. Others with more knowledge on wheels will pitch in.

Having read his wheel fittment guide doesn't mean you can understand it.
What you are looking for are clearly stated there.
F: 19x9 +24
R: 19x10 +24 or 19x10.5 +30
Just do what Rominl suggests in his fittment guide and you will be all right.
Don't expect to find cheap wheels with those specs on Ebay, it is much safer to order them through CL vender here.

Correct me if I am wrong.
Bascially, Rominal's guide is telling us the position of the outside edge of the new wheel can extend additionally up to 34mm/front and 47mm/rear with the right combinations of wheel width, offset and tire size.

just keep in mind, with those setup (once you get close to the edge of the wheel well), you want to make sure you get the right brand, model, and sizes of tires so you can avoid rubbing
