Default Current lease rate for 07 SC430? Anyone?

Hello all members

I've changed my mind and decided to lease a new SC430 instead of getting a used one

I really have no idea what the going lease rate on these SCs nowadays. Since winter is coming, I think the dealers are desprate to get these SCs off of the lot (or am I wrong). I've heard the sale for SCs went down dramatically for the last two years so that might be a factor when it comes to lease rate.

Basically I want 36-39 months lease w/15,000 miles per year. My credit score is over 700. and I want a little total drive off as possible.
What kind of monthly payment should I be looking at??

Thanks for your help!! I am so desperate to get one of these babies

my guess? around 800 bucks. that's about what i am paying, but remember i am using the multiple deposit plan. of course, that's with zero down, so it's just fees + first month drive off. pretty good deal if you ask me (at least back in end of 04)

oh and you are in cali, winter doesn't really matter the sales are down, but then i think they are making less of them anyway, since they put a lot more allocations on the other cars (IS, GS, and the coming LS)

Man, it sounds almost like a mortgage payment, but at the end, it might make more sense than my ultraconservative stand of not owing anything.
Why not just buy it with payments? Doesn't it make more sense now that you can't deduct lease payments, even if a bit more money per month? Just curious.

definitely not in cali. 800 bucks can't get you squad even rents are more expensive than that. it depends on your planning and calculations. we plan to buy out the car after the lease, and with the way we doing it, we end up paying less "interest" than if we finance the car

we leased ours in May 04 for 36 months 15k/yr. for LFS encore, Tier 1 credit, no security deposit at all, the monthly payment w/ 7.75% tax was $899. the car was discounted $6500, or $58,000 negotiated price. residual was 56% and MF was about .002215.

today your buy rate MF is .00255 and the residual is 55%, so the terms are a little worse. if all else is equal (which it's not b/c the MSRP is a little higher and the negotiated price might be higher/lower), you would be looking at $20 more per month that what i was paying. again, no money down, no security, drive off was $899 + registration and fees.

that should give you an idea. right now you should find out how close the SC is going to invoice and then negotiate it before you tell them you want to lease.

roadfly has excellent buy rate lease information so you can know whether or not the dealer is doing any padding on buy rates. if you have Top tier credit, the dealer should offer you buy rate from LFS.

These lease rates are for reference only and may vary by region. The dealer does not have to offer you these rates. It’s always best to compare other lease programs through other sources such as LeaseCompare.com.

I have the same deal as romini...msd's are absolutely the way to go if you have the money to lay out. you simply can't get a better rate of return on your cash elsewhere. as for timing, the end of december almost always is the best for any car.

multiple security deposit

you can opt to lower your money factor by supplying MSDs. it's a deposit, so you get it back at lease end.

every person is different on whether or not it's worthwhile. i suppose ultimately it depends on your (1) cash position and (2) your expected return on that cash if you put it elsewhere.

very well said, it's diffrent to everyone. it just happened in our case that we got the best return doing MSD

In my case the payment dropped just about $100/month for a $3600 return on mthe $7200 deposit.
