Your welcome! By the way the name is Mike! I know how much that would bother me having holes drilled in the front bumper. Luckly we have a lot of car guys here in South Florida and they saw fit to get rid of a lot of the stupid laws here. Now if you can come up with something to ban snow birds down here I'll be good!

My friend uses this and it keeps his front flawless.

Default plate holder

I have gotten more than one ticket for not having a front plate. I also really didn’t want to put holes in the bumper so I made my own under mount bracket. I bought a full plastic-backed plate mount from Advance then some right angle brackets from the hardware store. I used tapping screws up underneath the bumper and Teflon screws and nuts cut to size to secure the plate with out having any metal contact to scratch the bumper (& duct tape padding). I’ve had it on there for about 6 months and it’s very secure, looks clean and most importantly…no visible bumper holes!

As I will be installing my new holeless bumper shortly once my Expel in applied, I will need to do exactly that. make a bracket that fits from under the bumper. have it on most of the time unless I am attending car events and off it goes.

take a look here

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...hlight=license

that's how i did it on my gs. i thought about the same thing with my sc430 but it's tough coz' it's so low to begin with already, and i have body kits, so doing this on fiber glass isn't the best idea

search continues @_@
