Oh, I just saw your post on page 1.

Great choice on the '06 or '07. They have several newer colors, the upgraded lights and the seats recline all the way back are just ergonomically correct.

The best time from tests of the car mags. is 6.1 sec. for the pre-06 SC430 though, but none had tested the 06 that I'm awared of, so not sure anyone has done 5.8 sec. either . . .

I was going to comment just that. And those numbers are achieved beating the crap out of the transmission (brake-torquing). Don't know what Lexus was smoking posting those numbers.

They may actually have achieved those times during their own testing, but deliberately using a driver that weighs only 100 lb. etc. That's why they put an asterisk/footnote next to their printed time.

still shopping bro.... Ive been taking my time because the December to remember is coming through so i might find an 06 and if I do.. im gonna hop on it I really dont care for color...except brown and champagne <~~I will refuse to get senior citizen colors. LOL and the main reason i want the 06+ is because of the upgraded headlights they look soo friggen sweet....

Funny thing is.... I been getting alot of crap from my buddies when I tell them im trading in my 5 series bimmer for a sc. They think if Im getting a 60+ hard top conv I Might as well go for the new BMW 330 hardtop Conv coupe twin turbo. When I hear this nonsense I look them dead in the eye and tell them... "Why should I degrade myself?" my buddies still need to grow up!!! not everything is about speed. The sc is class, style and originality AND the last lexus coupe that will front 5 figure price tag...

Ill keep you guys posted....I havent seen an 06 with a price to my liking the lowest i got was 59.... im trying to get mine for exactly 50K

Very wise choice, the 330 would be a step back. You could consider a SL but for $50K you would be looking at a 2003 with 30K+ miles.
