Default Putting down the top while rolling to a stop.

Ok since you cant put down the top unless its in park, has anyone figured out a mod to put it up or down while rolling to a stop? It goes up and down pretty fast but most times I find myself waiting 10 or 15 more secs at a green light and people getting pissed. Esp in downtown. Also this would come in handy when I roll up to a light that has been red for while and is about to turn back to green. Just putting it in park and out of park takes time and I dont like to rush that and grind a gear etc.

Also will come in handy for sudden downpours etc pulling off to the side really quick etc.

I am NOT saying I want to put it up and down over 10MPH just rolling or leaving from a stop would be a nice feature. Without having to put it in park hold down the button, wait for the top etc while still sitting there at a light that turned green.

The car doesnt have to be in park, you just have to be at a complete stop. In fact, not even a complete stop, you can be rolling, JUST A LITTLE BIT, and it'll open and lower.

Been there, done that. you can't be rolling too fast (above 10mph) or the car will stop by itself. Then, you must either hit the brake to a complete stop and finish what you're doing either going up or going down.

You don't have to put it in "P", but rather press your foot brake pedal to a complete stop then creep, roll, press the up/down while rolling and then brake to a complete stop.

It's all about timing and if I know that I'm at a major intersection where the light is pretty long, I slowly and gradually stop, then creep to a roll while pressing the up/down button until I completely stop.

this trick does rolls eyes from others around you.

but don't get caught in the middle of things when traffic starts up again.

not 10mph, that's too fast already.... as long as you are under 4mph the top down/up will work.

btw, try not to do it at the light, simple as that
