Mine is an '02 Navy Blue SC430 (bought it in '04) & seems to be the "grandma" of the group with 56,000 miles & in my opinion its life isnt even 1/4 over yet. & Aside from a few minor issues....she still runs & looks just as good as the newest ones out there. The best car I've ever owned. Love it!

Damn, I think I get the award for most miles and mine is somewhat on the lower end of average. My car is an 02 and its getting ready to turn 60K. It does have a date with a paintbooth in the 1st qtr of 07 but other than that, very solid, and yeah, its probaby just barely broken in.. =) I also love the car to death and just got thru enjoying the car today in SoCal weather (hit almost 90). Topdown, freshly washed and going no where in traffic....
hold the awards ceremony...I have an '02 with 71,540 miles bought it in '03 with about 12k on the clock

Try to beat this.
Let’ see if some can beat 91,200, but these are not mine miles I bought it in February with 86,000 on it. The only issue so far that passenger site mirror electric motor does not want to get mirror up/down. Interior after good conditioner looks and feels like new.

My '02 SC has 55k and runs like a Repulican to a scandal. Replaced trunk struts, brakes (just cause the fronts warped a little, not cause they needed it) and the HID's.
Just sold the '97 LS400 with 85K on it and it was perfect!

80k miles and car runs perfectly. Everyone still thinks I've got a new car because I have no license plates due to a DMV mixup. .
Only problems have been the trunk shocks and the front suspension ball joint was making noises at parking lot speeds.

interesting to see the mix of mileages on people's SCs. SC430GA, you seem to be the only other person around the same mileage as us. we bought it new in May '02 and put it to work right away. looking forward to many more miles in it!

You moved the mirror adjustment switch out of the center position correct? Mine didn't move either until I moved the switch.

And the contrary logic escapes me. For me the real joy in owning a fine car is driving it. Now, if you've got a dozen or so cars or if your lifestyle just doesn't involve much driving, that's fine. However, if you're keeping your mileage down just to keep your car pristine, it seems to me that you're just not attuned to the greatest pleasure of owning a well-engineered vehicle.
