How Low Can Tein CS GO??????
I've seen lots of pics with SC430's with the tein CS set up but it just doesn't seem low. I like that look that the car is tucking in the front, is this possible with the CS setup.

If you have stock wheels, the fender will tuck the tire. Its a perfect drop. The only problem is if you slam the fronts all the way down, the front shocks will bottom out all the time. I had to raise my fronts 1 inch from the bottom and I still bottom out. Maybee I need higher spring rates in the front.

As far as the spring rate goes, both CS and CST are the same.
You probably need to set damping force to 0 for both front and rear.
I am going to slam my car all the way down next time I do the alignment to see if I'll have the bottom out problem.

I have pics somewhere I have to go look for them. The only pic now is the the one on my posts uner my screen name. On another note I have new pics of the SC430 Super GT car from my trip to Japan last week. I can send them to someone to host it. Also five new plastic BanDai plastic models. LOL

Update:: I just ordered a pair of Tein springs with a higher spring rate. So hopefully this will solve my bottoming out problem. I would like to lower the coils all the way down and not bottom out. My rears have no bottoming out issues lowered all the way. This is a email response from Tein:: BTW I ordered the 14kg spring upgrade.
"If you would like to change the spring rate of your current kit, you can
stiffen it up to +4kg over without having to revalve the dampers.
Currently, your coilover uses a 10kg, 559lb/in, spring(part # SM100-01250).
You can order either 12kg springs, 671lb/in(#SM120-01250) or a 14kg,
783lb/in(#SM140-01250)-14kg springs are special order from Japan.
These springs retail for $100/pair. and you can purchase them from any of
our authorized dealers. Visit http://www.tein.com/dealer/mapusa.html to
locate the nearest TEIN dealer to you.
I wouldn't think that there are any problems with your coilovers and that
changing the springs might be a good fix to your bottoming out. But, if you
can, please inspect the dampers to insure that there are no leaks. Otherwise
you may have a blown damper. Using the 12kg spring will be more manageable
for the street, while 14kg springs may be too stiff, and give your car a
bouncy ride quality."

So far, I know Tein's, Tom's and AutoCouture's coilovers for our cars are all on the softer side, but only AC has the ability to slam this car to the ground.
Maybe some members here will have the courage to order Answer's or Phoenix's coilovers b/c these cost from 3k to 5k.

I have these upgraded springs. I love them over the ones that came with the coilovers. In fact, I had the springs upgraded literally within a week of getting the coilovers. Just FYI, it does make the car twitchy in some situations but it's a much better feel over the original.

2" Drop in the front
I had some after market spring that lower my car 2" in the front and when i turn the tire hit the fender. I had 20's so now i have to raise it back up and drop it 1.7 at most they say. so the wheels dont camber..
looking good cost $ on tires
