Default New Sirius Ashtray install with photos
Ok..well thanks everyone for their posts with ideas for sirius install. I loved the ashtray idea so I had the starmate installed in the ashtray. They had to do a little work to make it fit..but not a major job. the full install took 3 hours including an FM modulation switch in the center counsel. The antenna( a big concern of mine) is working GREAT in the corner of the dash. I have sirius on my other car with the antenna on the top of the roof and I have noticed NO difference. and Yes the ashtray still closes

that installation is very clean.
You remind me that I made quite a few profit by owning that stock (siri) two years ago.

Looks great.... how much disassembly was involved, particularly for routing the antenna wire?
