Yeah, they pm me that info as well. I was really disappointed to hear they're just tips you have to get welded on. Even worst is the price! That price is even more than the Blitz exhaust. Looks like I'll be getting a Blitz exhaust eventually then.

So you are saying only the TIPS cost MORE than the actual Blitz exhaust itself??!?!

The tips are the big issue here, and that's holding me back from doing this deal. I've got a blitz on there now so I'm looking into the possibility of having the tips custom made and then chromed. It's gotta be cheaper.

FWIW & I know it's a completely different car but even aftermarket quad-tips (that bolt-on) for a Porsche 911 Carrera S are cheaper at $400-$600. And I'm not ragging on Carson Toyota...I'm ragging on Job Design's prices.

Fyi, my SS Corsa tips started out as a single side of a dual set for trucks/SUV's. http://www.corsaperf.com/truck_suv_tips.htm

These are the 4.0" Pro-Series Tips. I'm not sure of the price, but you might want to google or ask a local muffler shop.

You are thinking about customizing your current blitz exhaust tips? That is an idea but for some reason I don't like to alter aftermarket exhaust especially blitz.. I wish there was a true quad exhaust which we don't have to customize anything, just true quads straight from the manufacturer.
but thats just me tho..

Completely redefines the sc430, in my opinion, it is a much better looking car with the new Aero from Job Design.

Yeah they do, close to 2K I think. So with that added to the cost of the kit it'll be a nice little pile of money to get this on the car.

Yup they do...but the quad-tips exhaust is an axle-back design selling for $1900+shipping:

If you want a cat-back design then you have to get the center pipes selling for $1200+shipping:

If you want to get the Tom's cat-back exhaust (like the Blitz that cost $1050+shipping) then you have to spend $3100+shipping.

Even you do get Tom's cat-back, you are still unsure the Tom's tip size will fit well with JD's rear bumper.

It is difficult or even impossible to find some after market tips that fit, so why bothers? Just get JD's tips that are specially designed for this bumper. Although they are pricey, at least you spend less buying someing that fit perfectly.
