Rominl is right, Toms parts are always going to be on the expensive side, that's just how things work.
The way I see it is, yes these tips or exhausts may be expensive, but you are driving an expensive vehicle. It is up to you to justify the costs of buying expensive parts but do not complain if it is too expensive because nobody is forcing you to buy it.
Honestly, there are many muffler/tip/exhaust (whatever) out there that resembles the Job Design exhaust, afterall...it isn't even the first design. I believe Mercedes started the cool staggered quad exhaust in their current AMG line up. Many companies have started to make these exhaust/tips and I'm sure with the right muffler shop, you can have it at exactly the same angle, length as the setup in the pictures.
Who has actually bought this kit? I know I would if I was driving an SC430

I'm not ragging on a fellow CL member so I can complain if I want. Yeah, I agree it's in the hands of the individual but just b/c people can afford it doesn't mean it's worth the manufacturers/vendors asking price. To each his/her own.

Hmm...
If you guys take a closer look at the tips again, there is no gap around and between the tips.
The two openings in the rear bumper are meaured and spesifically cut for JobDesign's own tips.
If you go check JD's website, they have another JD's quad tips at a cheaper price.
I believe the fittment isn't exactly the same b/c the other JD quad tips don't seem designed for this bumper.
You might find some other makers' tips that will fit, but they won't fit as perfectly as the JD ones.
Exhaust shops can make the piping and angle fit, but I doubt they can modify the diameter of the after-market tips to fit the bumper perfectly unless they can custom-made the tips for you.

well the key is the stock bumper and most body kits (wald, etc...) only goes for dual exhaust. with quad exhaust you basically have to do more cutout to fit. if someone already has it in plan, they can select the tips and size from the exhaust shop, and then have the body shop (please, good one) to custom cut the bumper / kit to fit right around the exhaust tips after it's on the car
i have seen it before, if done right it's pretty clean

I want to know if they really nice enough for me to get new body kits.
As the used SCs are getting affordable to the majority, you should have some GB stuffs for SC owners like Blitz exhaust or something.
The demand is not a lot, but it is still there.

Wow... I know this is an old thread but I just stumbled upon it. Looking at this car makes me want to buy an SC430. Anyone ever find out about the pricing on it?
