UPDATE: I just replaced the Bando drive belt on the 2007 because of the slipping and squealing every morning.
replaced it with a Gates belt...lifetime warranty
will report back in a month or two with another update.
the Bando was 6PK2230
NOTE: this Bando belt was 15mm shorter than the Gates.
will be interesting to see what happens.
Thanks BGW. I still haven't changed it out. When I got the battery and later the oil changed, they said that the belt was fine. So I'm not too concerned. I need to take it to a mechanic for other items, so I'll have him check it out.
