Default Sc430 Mid Pipe's

Iam Sure If We All Decide On A Design We Could Get Jba Headers In San Diego Calif , To Make A Jig For A Small Order ?

What About S/s ?

I Had This Problem With My 05 Tundra Y-pipe , I Purchased A Stock , Sent It To Jba , The Did The Mod , Made A Jig & Drawing And Charged Me 150.00.....

I Would Perfer A Ceramic Coating On The Mid Section My Self....

I Have The Tom's Front , S/s Headers, Blitz Rear

Not a bad idea. Would we want to have 3" (or larger) tubing and eliminate the resonators?

Or, do we need the backpressure they provide? The Zees center pipe doesn't have them.

Great article. I wonder if this is applicable to all fuel injected cars. It makes sense that our cars would likely adjust for a lack of back pressure, but for years my exhaust guys have always preached conserving torque in my exhaust modifications.

For our cars, I thought the purpose of the flattened out pipe prior to the muffler was to increase back pressure. I'm gonna talk to my exhaust guys about this one. Thanks for the post.

Has nothing to do with back pressure on this car IMO, only to clear the components underneath as there is little room with all of the braces and such as the pipe would be the lowest item on the bottom of the car. My other car is much lower than my SC was and it never dragged on the bottom yet my SC would always bottom out because the pipe was too low-thus the flat area on the factory exhaust and some aftermarkets.

Someone translate, are they claiming an increase from just splicing in a round pipe? Possible I suppose given the OE flattened pipe.
