Default Zees Exhaust System for SC430

Finally, Zees makes 4 different Exhaust sys for our car.

However, these aren't cheap at all. I think some of them are more expensive than Tom's.

I am starting to like the quad setup and am contemplating it myself, but fabricating the bumper and painting-just too much labor right now for me. nice pics. Thanks for sharing.

I am positive you are the only one here who is able do the fabricating.
Invest the $1000 to something else.

Zees has a center pipe for these exhausts, too.
It costs from ¥52,290 to ¥83,790 depend on the finishing.

IMHO, Zees center pipe is probably the best for this car.
We know the stock center pipe has flat spots in the piping right before it hits the muffler.
Blitz has some improvement in that area, but Tom's one is even worse.
I see no point of spending $1200 in Tom's center pipe which has even flatter spots than the stock one.

Tom's

This one below is Zees center pipe.
You can see that Zees has completely eliminate the flat spots.

Has Zee's completely eliminate those 2 small mufflers, too?

agree, zees has the best center pipe, but also keep in mind that the gnd clearance would be even worse

Henty, are those just resonators that are eliminated in the Zees center pipe? How much of a difference do you think that would make the sound?
Thx

Sorry about misspelling your name, Henry.

Has anyone tried to move the rear strut mounting more outboard [fab a new mounting fixture] to open up an area for better exhaust pipe routing room?

According to Zees web site, 88-90db.
Tom's is 82db.

If you like bigger and louder mufflers designed for this car, try Phoenix's Departure IV. That owner decided to add Apexi silencer to quiet it down.
However, you'll have some clearance issure not only from its center pipe, but also from the two big mufflers first.

Screw the whole " resonator chrome muffler pipe thingy".......You know that exhaust of mine folks keep talking about?............Ya.....that was $180.00. I have spoken....thank you. (I mean this in the best of ways) Spend your money on a hotel room in Monterey this May.

i can't say for sure but i think it will be noticibly louder. my apexi on the gs400 is pretty similar setup, and it's pretty loud. but then again there are a lot of other factors

for the sc430 i probably want it to be on the quiet side
