Guidance Needed whether to reomve the run flats!
I bought my SC430 '02 with the rf's and then repalced them a different brand rf.
Is there any reason to go with the Michelin's with a 25K life vs a passenger Michelin since I do not drive it hard or rarely exceed 85 mph?
Which tire do you like best?
Do I need to carry a patch kit and pump or is there a product in a can that won't destroy our sensors?
I do not have the donut spare and that is my only concern - I know the ride is going to be unbelievable.
All advice is appreciated!

hey where in Florida are you at? Instead of buying new tires for them get an entire set of sc430 wheels with non run flats. my friend is selling a set in wpb for $600 70-80% tread with michilens I think this is perfect for you. comes with tps sensors ect. I think its a good deal if u can go pick it up. email me if you got any questions tonydt1g3r@aol.com

With a high performance tire comes a series of benefits, first and foremost the tire can handle higher speeds, the sidewalls are able to handle more abuse and will perform better when pushed to their limits, and the compound is a little bit softer therefore giving you better traction in almost all situations.
now the non-high performance tires you mention are still very good tires, but for a 2 door semi sports car you might lose on that sporty feeling.. Now its just up to you, I doubt you’d drastically notice a change but it just depends on your driving style.

most of the SC430's here have high-perf. non-run flat tires.
I have the Mich. Pilot Sport A/s high-perf. which works very well on dry/wet conditions.
You don't have to drive over 85 mph and still have high-perf tires.
This is a sporty car so therefore it makes sense to put high-perf. tires on them. Of course, unless you're in a area where's there snow, then that's a different story.
But there are non-high-perf. tires for this car available also. I have these on my other toyota sedan which is alright for daily driving conditions. I think they're Mich. also.
I think it just wouldn't feel right having a non-perf. tire on the SC430.
Just my opinion, though.
