i was wondering if anyone knew if the new 06+ sc430 headlights and tailights would fit on an 05 and later sc430. if anyone has any idea please post. ive searched and found nothing.

Hey guys, I spent like an hour at the dealership waiting for my car the other day and there were 2 Sc’s, and 06 and 03 side by side and I sat there and analyzed the lights for a good 45 minutes, popping the hood looking thru the grille and so on. The only part I see which is different is the inside bottom corner. If you’re looking at the car dead on, the lower most portion of the light which is closest to the front grille. On the 06 models it looks a little bit sharper and more defined than the older style… what I’m trying to get to is, I think with a little and by little I mean some sanding and slight trimming you should be able to fit the lights.

What do you guys think.. Has anyone taken out the whole light and compared their contour and mounting points?

I have a 06 and I tried putting a Tom's front bumper assy on huge diference around the lights

fender and hood is the same

I have the CF hood on order and the 06 Bumper assy, I will be doing the rear and the dual exhaust.....

So if you had a 2003 SC and you put something like the Job Design 2006 bumper on it, you would be able to swap in 2006 headlights?

it's possible. i am not 100% sure about hood and fenders if they are the same

just keep in mind even if you fit the headlights, it will not work 100%, at least the adaptive headlights won't work

does anyone know if you need the newer grill in addition to the 2006-7 bumper in order to get the 2006-7 headlights to fit?

to install the 2006 headlights you need:
- new 06 bumper
- new 06 grille
- new 06 headlight assemblies (L & R)

anything else?

The plugs are different for one. You need a new harness. You need the brain and sensor for the AFS.

as rominl mentioned, the afs will not work...
so i guess we're up to:
- new 06 bumper
- new 06 grille
- new 06 headlight assemblies (L & R)
- new 06 L&R headlight harnesses

anything else one would need in an upgrade kit?

Hi everyone i am new here i was hope u guys can help me with one question i been reading through the post and i still not sure that i understood it right - i have SC430 and i wanted to change tailights to new 2007-2008 model tilightsand in dillership they told me hew lenses cost me $250 each but they are not sure that it would fit my car - can u please guive me some hint will it fit or not and do i have to get anything else? Thank u for your time.
