Since it has been cold, when I get in my car in the morning the brake light comes on and stays on for about 15-20 minutes. I have a '03 with 25,000 miles. Has anyone else had this problem? Why does it doe that? It has never happened in the summer time.

my brake light came on a few days ago as I entered the dealership for a tire pressure checkup. the brake light flashed for a few seconds and went away.The tech. took a look at it and said that my brake fluid was low.
He filled it up and the issue was fixed.

I had the brake fluid checked. It is fine. Only does it in the morning. That is odd.

Every once in a while my parking brake light comes on for no reason, and I can get it to go away if I pull the e-brake release [even tho it's not set].

This has been happening more and more to me also just as you have described. Stays on, then goes away, but always comes back now. It is lit more often than not now. Parking brake release does nothing. Will see what the dealer says next time.

This is what has been going on with me, no brake fluid problem, pull the parking brake thingy and still the same thing, but it is only in the morning when its cold for the first 15-20 mins. Then it goes off and stays off.

When you ask the dealer let me know what they say. Thanks!
