I was searching through my documents on my laptop and found this Tire Sensor TSB from Lexus. It's useful when resetting the pressure sensors.

Just wondering if this procedure activates new sensors or if it just resets the already in-place sensors?

 

not sure you need to take it in to set a new set of sensors. I know when my second set of sensors got set, my friend had the unit pluged up to the obdII sensor and I could see each wheel sensor on the unit light up once it hit a certain PSI

 

I'm trying to remember when I first downloaded this and why. As I look at the procedure, it's listed as the pre-delivery set-up for the sensors. So, I don't see why it wouldn't work for either an existing sensor reset or a new set of sensors.
