After mounting the Vaistech SLU kit my navigation screen doesnt work.
Its just showing a black screen (nothing happens).

Anyone have any idea of what could have happend, how to look for the solution, pics of how the nav.screen is connected (wired) behind the radio/air condition?

the SLU unit, is it just plug and play? i am not very familiar with it, did you have to cut wires? you sure all plugs are plugged back in tight?

Yeah man, its just plug and play, no wires been cut. Im going to go through all the wires today (even though my knowledge is zip), n ill try to use common sense. It would be appreciated if anyone knew which wires should be "plugged in" behind the front panel (stereo, ac etc.) for the dvd navgation.

Recheck those wires. Something may have been pinched back there as things get tight with the new wiring harness added.Otherwise, go back to stock to see if that makes a difference.
Did you splice anything such as a power wire for your new accessory?

"Nops, no splicing done. Ive taken away all the new accessories now (hardan kardon drive + play and vaistech slu) and put back the nokia charger box. Voila, it works again. The question is, was it because I took away the nokia mobile charger box that the dvd nav. stopped working or something else.

Navigation worked after installing the hardan kardon drive + play but not after vaistech slu (i think).. Going to try to install everything again and try to documentry every step with pics."

Problem solved. Must have been some wire that wasnt properly inserted. Thanks for the tips
