address book typed entrys
Can anyone tell me how to get phone numbers into the address book by just typing them in!? 
The bluetooth transfer does not work on my Samsung SGH-Z500V. Also the phone is not listed for the car on Lexus.com for an 05 but then i'm in the UK...
Nothing in the nav book cover this! They seem to assume that you can download from the phone only. However everything else seems to work OK
As far as I can see the only way to get phone numbers into memory is to ring everyone individually and use the memory not the address book

I also tried to install individual phone numbers into the phonebook to no avail.
As you stated above, if you called the number it is in the memory and then you can install it into the phonebook. I ended up transferring via Bluetooth which was annoying and what I tried to avoid in the first place.

Done some searching...As far as I can tell it is not possible on the Gen 4 system to manually type into the address book.
Worse if you get them in by bluetooth you can't edit them or delete them!
Lexus made a mess of it!
Was this sorted on the Gen 5?
