I might have found a simple solution to IPOD integration
I live a couple blocks from a place called Audio 2000. I called them because they had an ad that said they did IPOD integrations on almost all types of cars.
Called them and for $400, they can hook up your IPOD to an audio jack and also, you can use your navigation screen to select music.
This is in no way an advertisement or anything, I just want to know if anyone has tried this or have heard of it because it sounds too good to be true. The VAISTECH audio integration kit itself costs $300 without installation so I'm a bit skeptical about this place.
This place is called Audio 2000 in West Los Angeles, on Olympic and Colby
Phone # is (310) 444-0966.

Yes, apparently someone has tried it. Please see attached. Haven't seen any updates on whether or not his nav system is now working, but I sure wouldn't want to give up my nav system for my I-Pod.

I know it's very primitive, but I have my I-Pod in my console and playing through my cassette player with a Belkin adaptor. It doesn't look great, but it sure sounds good!
