Default Rear Shock removal???

PLanning ahead on doing this for a friend and wanted to know if they are any tips?

Do we need a spring compressor like this ...


I've read that it is similar to the GS, but just wanted to make sure.

Just Pull The Strut First, Than Use Ant Spring Compressor And Change Assys , Those Bolts Are Not Used When You Switch To Tein
Model.....

Same setup as the GS, slightly more difficult considering the rear trim pices requred for removal. A search will review a thread on the install on this forum.

Also, are you talking replacing from a GS430 or Gs400.. I've read one thread where you had to remove the lower control arm bolt, but on my GS I never had to do that...

Suspension pieces are the same. I remove the sway bar end links and the control arm bolt for easier access. For the carpet, just pull off the rubber weather seal, pull out the carpet to gain access to the 6 bolts underneath. The pain comes with adjusting the settings as it is under the carpet. Some have just made holes for easier access.
