There is only one radar antenna and it is mounted on the front of the car. The two lower things you are referring to on the front of the car are laser jammer heads. There is nothing related to radar on the back of your car, it is a laser jammer head.

I prefer the V1 over any radar and I had mine hardired and was a perfect install.
Portable/wireless radar detectors are only so good when compared to the wired ones.

I disagree with the comment: "Portable/wireless radar detectors are only so good when compared to the wired ones."
Portable radar detectors are terrible, whether being compared to the wired ones or not. Tests show that their range is very short, rendering them virtually useless in most situations.
PS to JACE7: you will get better range and more protection if you move the V-1 off the dash and up higher on the windshield. I mount mine to the right of the rear view mirror; when not in use, the wire hides behind the visor. When in use, there is only about 4" of wire visible.
