How to balance CD sound with FM sound?

Default How to balance CD sound with FM sound?
When I switch from the FM to the CD, I get blasted. The CD volume is way louder than the FM volume, given the same position of the volume control.

Is there a way to adjust this so that the same volume **** position produces the same volume regardless of whether the unit is set for FM or CD?

Is this for CD-R cd's? I know for my Ipod i have to equalize the songs to bring them all to the same sound level.
