You can buy trunk support struts, Part number 64530-24052, for approx. $90.00 for the pair from a Toyota dealer. A lot better than the $250.00 it would cost you here. If you don't need them now you will latter.
It could be that other parts are significantly cheaper in Japan as well. It is a good idea to start a day ahead of time as they may have to order them in from a wharehouse. Going in with a part number would also be a good idea.

I'd also buy the trunk support struts as well. Good point! My mother in law brought them over for me in January. They are way overpriced in the states. If you like to change your own oil, buy some jdm oil filters. They are better made than the usdm oem toyota ones.

Goto Autobacs. http://www.autobacs.com/index.html You will find quiet a few accessories. The largest one is near Odaiba island. You may also try Toyota dealers (they go by the branding of "Nets").
One thing to keep in mind is that Japanese folks aren't necessary the best group of the people whom speaks and understand English. I would recommend that you do some research of the items that you would like to purchase here and take a picture of the items and show them to the sales reps.
Autobacs has many little gadgets that may interest you.
Cheers,
Jason
