Default Rotors: How hard is it to take the Front Rotors off?

hello, I'm planning on taking the Front Rotors off and front brake pads. They need replacement. I just wanted heads up information before I do the job. I don't have a complete lift system, so basically I'm using a stock jack and doing the job in my garage.

I've replaced front brake pads before, so I'm just asking to see if/how difficult it is to take the front rotors off.....thanks.....

p.s. I bought Brembo OEM plain front rotors from tireRack.

thank you....

easy fo cheezy. just take out the two bolts holding the caliper on. I think they are 19mm. take off the caliper and your rotor is floating. Really quick and easy. you might need a clamp to push your pistons on the caliper down so they will fit over the new rotor

Yes, the caliper is held on with 2 bolts. Use a 17mm socket to remove them and keep the caliper suspended to prevent strain on the brake lines.
