Hey gang,

I believe this question was asked but from my recollection no one really had what I was looking for..

Situation..

1)You have 20's, BBK (which require 18" wheel)

The Goal

1)Have a spare tire which fits over 14" BBK which CAN be secured in the trunk ***AND*** still able to drop the top in the summer time and not lug the tire in and out of your garage depending if you are going to drop the top on that day. Basically what I am saying, does anyone have a spare tire kit or ANY solution with having a spare in the trunk SECURED and not adjust the tire EVERYTIME you want to drop the top which also the spare fits over 14" BBK??

OK did you get the larger rotors with the endless BBK? If you did you may not have a shot at 18s. I got the Stoptechs with the big rotors, close to 14" I think and 18s don't fit not even close.

Just use the 18" spare and have a custom adapter with extra lugs.

Yes that would be me. I got 20" wheels with BBK upgrade and the spare tire kit. If you go do a search for the spare tire kit you can easily find the place to buy all the hardware needed for the spare tire kit. Then you need to find yourself a supra spare TT spare. Its a 17" donut that fits over the BBK I think all together I spent like $400 for all the trunk peices and covers as well as the spare. The spare usually runs for about $100 shipped

I was just gonna ask u about this.. i got my hands on a TT spare tire (yellow 17" rim) and was wondering where i can get the mounting hardware for the tire? Thanks!

have you checked on ebay? I rememebr in the old spare tire kit post I had posted the email address of the guy I got mine from. Roseville lexus or something like that. It was really cheap compared to the other dealers
