No argument your wheels look great, very similar to mine, I think the 10 spoke looks great on the car. In the photo my wheels do look a little small but in person they seem to fit the car well and to my eyes give the car a classic look. But I would stick with the wheels even if they did look small for the ride benefits. Of course compared to the run flats it is a totally different car. I noticed no difference in handling probably as I never drive near the limit and only no one person who does.

I am not aware of the fact that members belittle champagne color here.
It may not be my first choice of color, but I don't hate it at all.

Those 17" wheels do look a little small to me.
It is your car, so you can do whatever setup that fits your need.

I also have a pic that was taken by me at Taste of Lexus last year.
The color is similar to yours and these 18" OEM wheels look nicer than the GS 17" and 18"s, imho.

I have the 18" Tourmalines from the GS on my SC430 and love them. They are totally different from any others and IMO make the SC look more modern. For me, the best look for the car would be an upgrade to 19"s, but I got the Tourmalines installed through the dealer, the ride is good (without the runflats) and they don't look aftermarket.

For the original poster, I haven't heard anything about a replacement SC in the near future. My guess is that Lexus will continue adding to the IS model line with a coupe and hardtop convertible in 2008 before replacing the SC. I would look for a clean '06 with low mileage. There were basically no changes from '06 to '07. When I bought my new '03 SC430 for close to sticker, I thought it was a great car for the money. When I bought my pre-owned '06 w/ 4600 miles for $55k it seemed like a steal!

I noticed that the photo I enclosed a few days ago is no longer here. Anybody know why?
