Keeping the seats cool with the top down?
My back is sweating! I love the sc, and I love to drive with the top down on a nice day, but man does black leather get hot... I get out and it looks like I just got off a waterslide.
My question... Does sheepskin really work to keep you cool in the summer and warm in the winter? If I were to get it, I'd get black sheepskin, will this still work ok, or no since it's black? I suppose anything is better than the hot black leather though.
Anyone have experience with these? I see them for 500 bucks custom fit here: http://www.autoanything.com/sheepski....aspx?kc=ff337
Is that the best thing to go with if I were to purchase them?
Thanks

for seat coolers you would have to get new seats or have a shop tear into your existing ones...
as far as the sheep skin stuff goes... My friend GS42NV had them on his ride, although I hate any type of covers on a leather interior his were top of the line and quality made products... I don’t know what brand they were since we bought his car with them already installed. They do a great job of keeping you cool during the summer and warm in the winter.... come to think of it tho... my back would still sweat on hot days in his car... so I don’t know if it will help

See you need something to aerate your back…… I personally think the best thing you could do is either have a upholstery shop install perforated leather on the 2 inner patches of ur seats backing… or trying to install some type of seat cooler.
What you need to achieve is air flow thru that area, whether its thru some type of seat cover or installing new ventilated/perforated leather it up to you.
