Default Chrome grill strips..... anyone got them on?

anyone ever done this? the before and after pics look pretty good, but i wonder how the quality and life of the product is. They retail for about $30 and use #M adhesive to stick on...

I have not tried them but would question the long term durability of stickers on the grill. Washing, weather, air flow,etc... Then if you have to remove them the grill is sticky all over,etc...
Just MO of course

I may just pull the trigger on this and try it out. If I do, I'll put up some pics for others to see.

Let us know how it works out.
Flash, they are chrome strips that go on the individual grill inserts.

I was always curious about those. I even considered throwing them on my Range back in the day. A friend of mine had them and they looked great. Never heard any complaints. I may just consider some chrome touch up paint if there is such a thing. Mainly because I need to clean up one of my side mirrors. Let us know how your inserts go.

i saw a 2007 silver SC up close and the chrome grill looked pretty hot. even if it lasts just for the summer, i think it'll add some shine to my ride. i'll post up pics next week!

if they made it with the lexus symbol intact, i would like it a lot better. its also $500, IMHO pretty high just for a grill

Does anyone know if the grille is chrome underneath? On my old 97 LX450 and 01 GS300, the grilles were chrome underneath and I used a paint stripper to reveal the chrome. Does anyone if this could work on our SC's. **(Just got my 05 SC430 a couple weeks ago, new to the club!)
