Congrats on the new SC! You will love it.

Just be careful with the Tourmalines. It is VERY easy to curb them. I already had one repaired the week after I had them installed. Today, I curbed the front and back ones on the driver's side. They look great on the car, but they damage very easily because there is no lip.

I'm taking my SC back in on Monday to have them repaired again. Sewell sends them out and makes them look as good as new for $165 per wheel, but it still gets expensive.

Thanks. We have an interesting story about this car. Back in March we put an order in for an '07 BMW 335i Coupe. Montego Blue (very bright electric blue). We waited 14 weeks and we received a call that the car was at the dealer and had been PDI'ed and ready for delivery. When we got there the car was in the garage area under relatively low light. We were kinda pushed to take a cursory look at the car and go to finance to finalize the deal. I asked to have the car moved outside (it was a nice sunny day). Reluctantly they moved it. I knew there was something wrong. Once outside, I could see what it was. The "orange peel" in the paint was the worst I have ever seen. They acted like "What is orange peel???"

Needless to say, we walked away from the deal. That was Friday the 8th. On Sat the 16th we took delivery of our beautiful SC.

BMW has a serious quality issue.

Looks like you made the better choice... Paint, reliability, and the ability to gently mod the SC.. if wife approves... LOL Best of Luck with the new car..

Tony
