Black SC430 with gunmetal BBS LM's!

This may be a subject of controversy for the forum,, but,, need to ask the question from an "old guy's" perspective. I may see the need to "trick" out the SC 430 as the beauties' above and others on this forum have so well been documented, however,, I just don't see tricking out the "cruiser SC 430", unless there is a powerplant in it to back up/justify the "trick"... She sounds great like she is in stock (it is a Lexus by the way), rides like a Lexus should with non-runflats and provides a little "G" acceleration when punched "to the floor"..., i.e., somewhat better than our old '98 LS 400.... I really could see some verification of tricking this cruiser out if, perhaps, she could put, say 450hp to the rears?? How do we get there??

modifying a car has a lot of different aspect. make it faster, make it prettier, etc... to me, stock sc430 doesn't look good at all. a modified one (when tastefully done, which is subjective) is good

rominl I agree with you fully. I seem to be driving fast less and less late, much of it has to do with michigan roads. I plan on driving the sc430 in the summer mostly and its cone season here with too much construction for many spirited drives. The sc430 stock looks just a little too meak, but with the right aggressive rims and a decent lip kit the car does a 180 and looks like a beast. Plus it still has enough get up and go to play around with.
