I love my SC but I hate the seatbelt *nag* chime which reminds me of my ex-mother-in-law who got louder and more insistent if you didn't agree with her right away. I'm a big boy, and I don't need anyone to remind me about my seat belt, especially if I'm just pulling out of the garage and into the driveway to wash my baby . . .
Does anyone know how to kill the damn chime? Unlike killing my ex-mother-in-law (illegal, however tempting was) there must be a way.

sorry, can't be of much help, but if you are just pulling it out to the driveway, you can't even bare with that 5 seconds?

anyway, that's what i do, disregard the beeps for couple of seconds. otherwise, buckle it up and the noise goes away

Probably one of the C-best settings that only Lexus dealers can do, but again just buckle up as Henry said.
